Gregg Schmitt

Gregg has spent most of his life reaching out to help others. He has produced countless benefits for members of the Twin City music community as well as having headed Rock for America, a benefit for the Red Cross shortly after 9/11/0 that raised over forty thousand dollars in just shy of 3 weeks, and Hope For The Holidays, a benefit to assist the homeless children at St. Joseph Home for Children, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Gregg is well known by the thousands of people he has touched as a man with a big heart who is always eager to help others. He has made a difference in countless people's lives. As a token of appreciation, the hundreds member strong Tribute To The Troops presented him a plaque on September 13, 2009, with this inscription: "In recognition and celebration of a great American, a Patriot, a leader and a man of whole heart and honor. As the co-founder of Tribute to the Troops, Gregg Schmitt is responsible for giving life to a great American institution. His tireless efforts and years of dedication, honesty and commitment to soldiers and their families is the reason that this organization exists. Thank you Gregg for all you have done".
